    Killswitch Engage?

    Pun intended . Anywho, I've heard it can be of benefit to the battery to turn the killswitch off in addition to turning off the ignition on these older bikes? Fact? Myth?

    No idea why that would be of any help. Once the key is "OFF" the system is de-energized in every harness I have a diagram for.. Now, if someone has been in there hacking and slashing..might be a different story..

      That's what I would have thought, chalk it up to placebo effect I guess.
