      On mine I can just clip on in parallel with the sensor wire; no need to lift the tank even.

      There is one problem ; You do have to bend over

        No need to lift the tank either... I've been messing with bikes to get ready for the weekend and no time for this yet... I'll be bringing a meter with me in any case.
