    dead tach on 83 gs750e

Hello, just looking for some help on my 83 gs750e tach on why its not working.I have traced wiring for loose connections, shorts, and anything out of the ordinary.Have tested for power from ignition and signal and has both to the tach. I have disassembled the guage cluster looking for loose connections at the tach and have found none.Any ideas? Something I'm not checking for? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Welcome aboard, many times the tach pulse to voltage convertors go bad. Most likey over voltage. Easierst thing would be a retro fit. Dont know if anyone has done one yet.

I have a spare assembly that is untested that you could give a go....

I also have a fully working complete Gauge set from my 83750ES if that's of interest. I'll want about $150 for that though.
