    gs400s wiring

where can I find a wiring diagram for an 84 gs400s? The kick stand warning light won't go out, even with the switch disconnected. It appears like there is a short somewhere.

Nothing there concerning the 400.. My question is really concerning a diode that is between the Kick stand warning light and the oil pressure light. The kick stand warning light is on even with the switch disconnected It feeds back though the oil prssure sw. Perhaps when it is running it will go out but I must be missing something because I can so no point in that.I think the wiring is similar to the gs450. I just aquired this bike and it is presently not running or at least not running properly, it is missing some carb parts.

Let me be a bit more specific: http://www.mtsac.edu/~cliff/storage/...450_wiring.pdf
If that is not it, you should inform BassCliff since it is labeled to include your bike.
He also lists a Haynes manual which may help: http://www.mtsac.edu/~cliff/storage/...450_Haynes.pdf
        Best of luck.
