L.E.D. signals and markers in one unit
i did some searching and realized prior that when going to l.e.d. signals you have to change the flasher but i wanted to know if anyone has a setup on their bike where the signals also come on with the headlight to act as markers when riding. my brother in law bought a kit for his nightster and it is nice......from a safety aspect. anyone have some info let me know. thanks in advance.Tags: None

Hi,
You have to have dual-filament bulbs and sockets (like 1157 or equivalent LEDs) in the blinker stalks in order to have running lights. The running lights require their own power source, usually found in the headlight bucket (there's an extra brown wire if I remember correctly). The other filament (the "blinker" part) gets hooked up as usual.
Thank you for your indulgence,
BassCliff
