    tail lights

I am looking at taking my vetter bags off and have notice I will need to disconect my tail lights. They don't seem to come apart, does that mean I gotta follow the wire all the way to the harness to disconnect?

Solely based on your screen name, I'm going to guess that you might have an 850.

However, if you want more information about how to work on your bike, we need more information on what we're talking about.

Sorry it's a gs850z. My tail lights are in a bracket (wire runs thru) so the only way to disconnect and take out tail light is to disconnect wire. I have found on here somwhere's that the disconnect is by the batterie. I was hoping that maybe the wire at the tail light could be disconnected but it looks like it does not come apart.

        Hi,

My tail light disconnects in a bundle just in front of the tail section under the seat. Here you see the bundle hanging just above the tire.

I had taken off the seat, tail section, fender, etc, so that I could straighten those upper spars.

        Thank you for your indulgence,

        BassCliff
