    Starter Solenoid

    Hello,
im moving my electronics panel to underneath my seat. The yellow wire coming from the engine is too short to reach. The wire is thicker, like a battery cable. Can I use a battery cable to extend this wire? Or do I need some kind of special wire? Thanks,
    DG

"Yellow" wire to the engine is definitely non-stock, so verify it's function.

Sounds like it might be the starter wire from the solenoid. Pop the cover off the starter, make sure that's where the wire goes. While you are there, go ahead and install your longer wire. Generic battery wires are available at Auto Zone, or you can get some 8-gauge wire and put your own connectors on.
