rectifier question
I tore off a rectifier from a GS 450.. but i'm not sure the year. The wires look the same as my 82 1100. When I took it to the shop the guy said he was unsure whether it would fry my stator. He put the wires on the tester and said they came up with different om readings than clymer manual. The garage/junk yard I bought the 450 rectifier said an aftermarket part has the same part numbers as the 1100. OEM is far different. Any ideas on where to go from here?
