Battery Hold Down?
I just installed a new big crank battery in my 1150. Are these bikes suppose to have some kind of strap for the battery? Mine doesn't and it seems the battery can pivot at the bottom and come out of the tray.
Thanks!Tags: None

I know the PO used a torn up bungee cord on mine that I replaced with one of those velcro straps you can get at Walmart. It is a bit long but I wrap one end around the frame before strapping it at the battery box.Cowboy Up or Quit. - Run Free Lou and Rest in Peace

I may just have a nice, content, docile battery because it's never tried to get away from me yet....and I don't have a tie down.1980 GS1100E....Number 15!
