right front blinker always on?
ever since i got a new battery (cuz i let the old one freeze during the winter) my right front blinker stays on whenever the bike is on. even when i have the blinker on left it still stays on. not flashing but thats because i need a new flasher. anyone know the reasoning for this? say screw it unplug them and use hand signals?Tags: None

Blinker
You can either ride the bike around in circles all the time or take the switch assembly apart and figure out what's going on. I suspect it will be pretty easy to figure out, once you get in there and take a look. The switch assembly is pretty primitive so it may be very apparent. While you've got it apart, clean all the contacts thoroughly.
I would guess that the part about the new battery is purely coincidental.Last edited by chuckycheese; 08-19-2010, 07:02 PM.1980 GS1100E....Number 15!
