in line 2 ohm resister what wire ?
I am swapping out the coils on my 77 gs750 with points , for a set of 3 ohm dyna coils i have from a parts bike ,what i need to know is what wire do i put the in line 2 ohm resister on ,is it the white , black , or orange wire . thanksTags: None

I would think it's the Orange white as that supplies the power to the coil, the others are the trigger wires....1980 GS1000G - Sold

the 12v line, if you need a ballast resistor get a mid/late 70's Chrysler 4 prong ign resistor Mount it on the breather cover w/ longer bolt and a few flat washers. Connect both 12v to the same connection (the 2 ohm side) run the other end of the 2 ohm side to the coils
