GS1100G Ignition Cover, what will fit.
hi first few post here i hope in correct area, i need the ignition cover for 1984 suzuki GS1100G, im in QLD australia, so far no luck with wreckers. can i buy part from over sea's ?, are they all the same ?. thank you clancey.Tags: None

A number of GS's used the same ignition cover. You might want to check this site to cross reference part numbers. http://www.alpha-sports.com/suzuki_parts.htm As near as I can tell the 1100G shares the part with the 1000, 850 and 8V 750. There might be others too.Ed

Find the part number for your bike, then go back to the first page and enter it into the reverse search section.
It will return every bike that uses that part.

ok thank you all,I started looking through those sites. Im haveing fun trying to find correct part what do you call it ?, ill attach a pic, most of the lists have every thing but, i tryed looking through every thing, I had to go to a 1983 or 1982 model on those site's to find a GS1100G, 1984 was diffrent model was gl or other, finding interesting stuff, im not used to ordering stuff on line (old school )" time to catch up "I inserted pic in here if thats correct way to do it,pardon the writing on pic i sent it to few places , cheers clancey.g

update, ok got lucky with one off an GS 850, need to buff it up as it has very dull surface corrosion. The gasket make one my self ?, or just some type of casket goo ?, there was no gasket on it. one of the bolts is pretty bent and 1 missing. threads are good though, im keeping eye out for second bike for parts and or project at the right price. thanks for help, clancey
