to be clear:

O/W is the ignition circuit powered by Kill switch and goes to:
1-4 Coil (+) O/W
2-3 Coil (+) O/W

Your PO rewired to either use part or or completely replace the stock wiring for the negative side of teh coils but you need one way or another to go from the Dyna S B and W wires to the coils (as indicated in the atatched figure)

1-4 Coil (-) W (stock) W(Dyna-s)
2-3 Coil (-) B/Y (stock) B (Dyna-s)

You are going to have to trace from source to destination, this is not just hooking up wire colors.

I don't have much more to offer here, Tom and Posplayr seem to have you on the right track.
But from the thread title I just thought it kind of interesting that the only two people to respond are from Maine and California.
By the way Tom, where in Maine are you. I'm in Portland.

Yes, the PO didn't leave you a roadmap, so you have to figure it out. There might be plugs and wires you don't need!
