    1985 GS700e- odo knob

Hi Guys, I got lucky a few days ago and picked up a decent gauge glass and trim ring on ebay but I'm still needing an odometer knob. Does anybody have an extra or something that might work? I was thinking maybe an electrical wire nut just the right size, eraser or a soft wood thingy?

I'd like to have something I could remove if I had to.

    Thanks, Rick

It's possible I have a spare... will have to go look in the box. I have a good plate with all the numbers on & trim ring somewhere too.

Yes, thanks. I saw that and figured the stem came with it making things weird, but maybe it does not and it's just part of the picture breakdown; in any event who cares, the knob is there to be had! I'll wiggle it off some how if I have to. I'll order it up this week. Thank you

Thanks Salty, But I'll order one up but can you tell me how the needles come off the speedo and tach. They do have to come off to get the speedo assembly out of the cluster, yes?

I'm trying to put my old odometer (with the right mileage in the speedo head) and I think I have to remove the needles to get it done, yes?

            Thank you, Rick

Radio shack, that's always a good place to look for things, unfortunately, the Radio shack by me took all its neat stuff off the selves and put junky crap there, now, you can't even get basic electrical stuff.... sad.
