      The easiest way to hook up a tender is
      Remove the seat
      Remove left side cover
      Connect tender (+) positive clip to the battery side of the solenoid
      Connect tender (-) negative clip to the frame or R/R housing(if the R/R housing is properly grounded)


      To get to the battery:
      Remove the seat
      Remove left side cover
      Remove Right side cover
      Remove rear air box
      You are now at the battery

      If anybody wants to know how to bake Christmas cookies, I can get a recipe

                BTW, on a completely stock bike (that's what I ride) in order to remove the air filter box you have to remove the brace the tank bolts to. That is why you have to remove the tank. I absolutely hate it.

                  Yup, and don't forget moving the rear master cylinder too, IIRC. An AGM maintenance-free is a must, with the stock air box on an EZ/ED. Fit, add tender pigtail, and forget for the next 5 years.

                    Battery Tender uses an SAE connector. My Gears electric vest does as well, and so does an old Eclipse electric vest. I have put an SAE plug on a Tour Master electric vest to make it more compatable.

                    Its handy to have a connector suitable for multi uses.
