    should I get a Honda R/R

Just doing a little work on my 85 700E and replacing connectors and I was just wondering if Suzuki upgraded their parts before my bike or if I should consider the Honda unit.

If your current unit is working, why bother?

Unless you want to have one as a handy spare.

yeah mine is working fine, I just wasnt sure if it was just older GS's that had the common electrical problems or if mine was in the group as well.

        Most regulators don't die.

        They are killed.

Yep, they are killed because of poor connections that do not allow them to do their job properly.

If I remember correctly, there are a few 'old-timers' on the forum that still have an original R/R on their bike.

Like me! but I did have to replace my stator after 29 years.
