Coils gs 850

Hello,

My original coils are 5ohms, I'm still running points. If I buy dyna electronic ignition, what size or type coils do i need to buy? If any knows the dyna part number please let me know.

I have been running my points system with 3 ohm dyna coils and a 2 ohm ballast resistor. Used a 70's mopar ign resistor, 2 ohm side and mounted it to the breather cover for a future Dyna up grade. They say you can use the 5 ohm original coils
But I would replace them with new coils to go with the dyna.. OR keep the points

I'm going all out. I just bought a clean set of carbs, new dc1-1 dyna coils and mow looking for a good price on the electronic ignition dyna s...I hope this makes my bike come alive.
