    CE-602 Regulator Install on GS1100G

    Hello, after looking into the COMPU-Fire 55402 or the CE-602 regulators, I went with the CE-602. Reading the other threads on this site about the reasons why to get away from the shunt type rectifier, I made the switch. I went with the CE-602 for the main reason of availability. I was able to get a local dealer to order it. I installed the regulator in the same place as the rectifier was installed under the battery box. Had to make a plate to bolt it to the regulator and then bolt it to the bottom of the battery box. I ordered connectors from http://www.deutschconnector.com/. The connectors were the DTP06-4 and DTP06-2. This regulator is 3-phase and connects directly to the 3 wires from the stator. It has one wire for the power and also a ground wire. After hooking up, my voltage is at 13.8 at RPM above 1200. Below 1200, its 12.3V. I now have about 100 miles on the unit and thus far no problems. I can even touch it after a run as it doesn't even get warm.
