Any body pursuing this thread there is no a SH-775 which is a Shindengen SERIES R/R that is much cheaper than the Compufire.
I have not seen any measurements from it but there is nothing to suggest it is anything else but an balanced SCR implementation of a SERIES R/R. In contrast the Compufire is a MOSFET design based on the measurements that I took.
Because the MOSFET drops less voltage than the SCR, there is more voltage available at low RPM and less power dissipation for the MOSFET design./Comment
