John..I just read the part about your colorblindness in shades..Thats what i have too!! I found out when i was 18 and going into the Army.I wanted to be a compouter tech and repairman, but they found the what i actually call "shade blindness". I can see in color..just not shades of the same color.

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it. -

It seems i have procured a complete wiring harness, so thats a direct swap and will have the one end of the melted plug...now if i can get the left handle bar switch i can swap and try it all again.MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)
