i need to rewire my bike because the last owner destroyed it. my main question is what does the last fuse do, it doesn't seem to go to anything but it seems if i take it out then i don't charge. any help would be great. my bike is an 1980 gs850g.Tags: None

Hi Mr. newtogs,
Here's a picture under the left sidecover of my 1980 GS850GT.
You see the top fuse is for the headlight, second is for signals, third is for ignition, and the fourth is the main fuse. The very bottom fuse can be used for an auxiliary power source. I'm not using it on my bike.
Anyway, let me dump a TON if information on you and share some GS lovin'.
