    They install just as any other battery would only its a quarter the size and less than 2 lbs. There are lots of people using these batteries currently and I give it maybe another few years and I would bet you will start seeing them in bikes right from the factory.

      This bike runs on just the A123's. They are way cool and definitely something I'm looking at for the next time I need a battery.

          That's a great idea, couldn't you actually carry a spare battery pack in a tool bag ?
          Are they Alkaline, lithium ?
          I don't see them on the site.

                There's a company selling direct replacement Lithium bike batteries in Motorcyclist this month.... doesn't mention price. They are regular sized but quote power/charge life etc as being benefits
