    She's alive....sort of.

    Well the igniter interchange project 550 starts, runs and idles but that is about it.

    There is minimal throttle response. Twisting the throttle causes the bike to rev only a few hundred revs mor than idle and there is no change at full throttle.

    Carbs were cleaned and rebuilt prior to the igniter project. The bike is firing on all cylinders and the pipes quickly heat up.

    I'm suspecting the ignition is not advancing. The signal generator is in the stock position and I haven't played with it pending a consensus from the group. Would this seem correct?

    I think I read something similar in an earlier post but I am unable to find it now. Any ideas o wise ignition gurus?

    Its encouraging to have it run but disappointing that its not running half ways right.

    Use a timing light to check the advance, or the presence of spark on all four.
