I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

Find the RR chassis ground (black wire) and attach it directly to the - battery terminal or make a short jumper wire from the RR ground point to the battery - post.82 1100 EZ (red)

No, I didn't get zapped. I just put two fingers on it and it slowly died. I will switch to the battery ground tomorrow and see what happens.
Thank you for the quick feedback.
I will also be perusing Mr. Basscliff's site extensively over the next few days and see what I can sift out.
