How to replace spark plug cables?

So I believe I have seen a tutorial somewhere on this forum with instructions on how to replace your spark plug cables without having to replace the ignition coils. Can someone please direct me to that?

Hi,

There's no tutorial that I know of. This has been discussed so much that I thought it was common knowledge. Just carefully chip away at the epoxy holding the spark plug wires in the coils until you can pull them out. Be careful not to damage the spike in the bottom of the holes. Then epoxy the new cables in place.







I don't even remember who took these pictures, it's been so long. I'm sure you can find the thread if you did a search.

Yeah, I'm also about to replace the wires too.

I never found that Epoxy thread either....strange!

I only found the one thread which discusses cutting into the side of the coils!
(which is why I never attempted the wire-replacement yet.)

But this is good news!
