Flasher Unit Problems
Hello again, Dyna problem solved and on to the turn signals. The original flasher was shot so I ordered a new one from Bike Bandit. It's not like the original in any way except that it does not work. I found a brand new original in the box but it also does not work. I went to the auto parts store and bought a two prong flasher and it works great. Any ideas on the others since I have about $150.00 in the other two. Has anyone had problems with new old stock or new replacements? Any input would be appreciated.Tags: None

Gonna take a wild guess ... this on the '07 Metro?
OK, ok, this is a GS forum and there is only one GS in your profile.
With Bike Bandit's unique part numbering system, it's hard to tell if you got the right part or not. The early (before '80) GSes used different flashers than the later ones. You may have gotten one of the newer units.
Add that to the fact that Bike Bandit tends to be the second-most expensive vendor (after Alpha), I don't use them much any more.
