    The Lost Wire

I found a ground connector attached to a bolt fastening my battery box to the frame. Problem is, there is no wire attached to this particular connector. It broke. Now , I can't find it and I don't know what it was grounding. Any help is greatly apprieciated, Thanx guys.

It is one of the main harness grounds. There is one going to the side electronics plate as well as both are mounted in rubber to vibration isolate electrical components.

      Hi,

Do you see any unterminated b/w (black w/white tracer) wires in the neighborhood? "Unterminated" means "disconnected and without a connector".

      Thank you for your indulgence,

THis model had a risky grounding wire from battery box to ignitor/regulator plate. Strongly advised to run grounding wire from ignitor/regulator plate direct to battery negative to ensure R/R sees battery voltage.
