    Ignition timing

Hello guys,a question from a novice in the field. I am going to describe the results of the light bulb ignition test on my '78 GS550E, and I'd appreciate your opinion on it.
On the F1-4 test, the bulb lights right on the F1-4 mark, and stays on until just before the F2-3 mark .
On the F2-3 test, the bulb lights on the F2-3 mark but this time it stays on until it reaches right between F1-4 and first T mark.
    Is that normal? Thank you.

Not sure how "normal" it is, but it's showing that the points for 2&3 are just a bit wider than 1&4, taking them just a bit longer to close.

That little amount probably won't hurt anything, the important part is when they open and your light comes ON.

Just remember, an opinion without 3.14 is just an onion!
