    purge valve

ok so i have a nitrous purge valve wired up to my original pass light button on the left handlebar switch, (P for purge),
+ from battery to button, button to valve + , valve - to ground.
question is....... do i just need an inline fuse or should i run this circuit through a relay?

How much current does it take to activate the valve?

How much current can the switch handle?

If the valve requirements exceed the capacity of the switch, use a relay.
