I LOVE IT! I already changed mine to a Dyna but I'm still amazed by this! One question about the red and green lights, were they for something in particular? Thanks!

Excellent, My igniter went bad right after I bought my bike, like on the ride home, and the ebay replacement is definitely used. Next time it pop's I'll make my own.
Unless you plan on putting together some more of these for sale?
I'm estimating this is the same as the one for the 450, although I haven't bothered to look...

Excellent Kokar, fantastic work!
Apopleptic (and others) this is the same ignitor as used on all the '80 - '82 450's, the '80 and '81 250T's (I think that's right), and the same era 550's with mechanical advance I believe.1982 GS450E - The Wee Beastie

That's very neat packaging too Kokar, and I like how you've given it a nice thick base for a heatsink too, good idea!
Looking forward to the final test1982 GS450E - The Wee Beastie

Kokar,
Fantastic! Excellent work! I am putting the details in my archives for future use if you do not mind.
I would appreciate it if you would give us the schematic and PCB files in the format (I think it looks like you used Eagle?) you designed them in.
Could you add those monitoring LED's to the schematic as well?
I am very impressed and thank you for sharing.

Have you road tested the ignitor yet?
Thanks again and excellent work!

I haven't tested it in real life because i must put the resin first to prevent the humidity to destroy the PCB
i have only the .lay file
you can download the .LAY file from the following link

Attention !!!
if you will try to make the igniter you must isolate the power transistor from the heatsink like the following pic...
