1985 gn250 fried stator......
i have a fried stator for 1985 gn250 and am lookin for a replacement, I live in australia and there are some on ebay from hong kong an us cheap but i dont think they fit (no certainty) , the cheapest certain option i found is 160 us before shipping, does anyone know of other options........ i may try to rewire but would rather a cheap alternative..... -
Hey mate and welcome! What part of Aus you in?
I just did a lookup on your stator at www.alphasports.com and it comes back as being specific to the GN250's:
Part #32101-38300:
1982 SUZUKI GN250Z
1983 SUZUKI GN250D
1985 SUZUKI GN250F
1988 SUZUKI GN250J
That number has also been superceded and is now 32101-38302.
Not sure if this link will work properly but for the price I'd probably give one of these a go:

1984 GSX750S Katana 7/11 - Kit Kat - BOTM May 2020

There's two guys with GSX250's in NSW (Woodsy and Mike-S) but I think they're north coast maybe? Can't remember exactly...
