    Switch gear..

    I just bought a 82 850 and I'm not sure that the switch gear on the bars is stock,they look different from the last 82 I had ( but that was 25 years ago).Here is a pic of them.

      Yup they are in good shape,this bike has spent most of it's 30 years inside !!.The left side one doesn't work perfectly,the turn signal part goes down below the low beam setting and won't allow the turn signals to work.

        The button on that turn signal switch won't center if you actuate for a turn and then release the button. It stays off center until you manually center the switch or actuate for the next turn. Not sure about the head lamp portion though. The switch has some small pieces inside but it's not impossible to take apart and clean/grease. Drop me a PM if you decide to open it and need some pointers.

            Thats why I asked if these are stock,all my others have been soooooo sun and weather faded that I thought they came GREY !!!
