Where should I start ????

    If it runs good I would ride it. Put some sea foam in it and run a few tanks through it.

    Measure the mileage by putting gas in it over a few tanks. Mine get around 45 on the road, but I ride pretty slowly generally cruising under 65 mph.

    You do need the O Rings on the head to boot joint, as a minimum if they haven't been done, which are inexpensive at cycleorings.com

    That is a nice looking bike. I think the black and gold is the best stock paint on that. I bought a black and red 1983 new back in the day.

        Whew, for a second there I thought you'd have to have your fire department on speed dial.

        Those are good numbers. I don't think you have an R/R problem.

          Those numbers would be alittle low for my Vstrom so I just wanted to check and see how they were for the GS.
