new to the room... need a diagram if anyone has one.....

    hey guys,
new to gsr, just got a 83 gs750e in great shape, has scratched headlight faring and one bent bar, otherwise very clean and all original. the problem is my brother in law gave me this bike, its been sitting in his garage for about 5 years now and he figured cause i was a motorcycle tech i might be able to get it running. the guy that gave it to him had an alarm put on it and the alarm went to crap, so instead of getting it fixed he gave it away, so my bro-inlaw tried to remove the alarm and managed to make it start but now it has been passed to me and i have headlight and signals, but no other power so i am wondering if anyone has a wiring diagram or knows where to get one so i can go through this thing and see if i cant make a runner out of it. it turns over good if i jump the solenoid but nothing from the button. and there seems to be a few random wires laying aroun unconnected .

        Looks just like mine......

I don't have a manual for mine, but if I can trace any wires for you let me know, or take pictures of anything specific, I am in the middle of tearing it apart.....
