    gs400 wiring harness

    Hi,
This is my first post. I have a 77 GS400 that I am doing a bobber kit on. I bought the bike with the wiring harness not in tact. I am trying to get the harness all figured out. I am able to get everything figured out except one end. I have looked at the wiring harness diagrams and get not figure out this part of the wiring harness. I am trying to get the harness operational before starting hacking on the frame.

I appreciate any help with this.
    Thanks
    Ken

Hi Ken and welcome to the forums!

I'm looking in the Clymer manual page 236 for the 1977 - 1978 GS400 diagram and I do see a four pin plug that doesn't appear to plug into anything.

It's directly below the spark plugs and seems to have a black/white, orange, greeen, and another black/white wire going to it which doesn't exactly match what you have but it's the only four pin plug I can see.

Two of the wires I guessed at the colours as they're not actually labelled.

I haven't seen a 400 to comment so this is just what I see from the diagram...

Cool, in that case I'd say that's your culprit.

Probably just run through and make sure everything else is accounted for first though...
