    "MINI" flasher units

I asked at a few parts stores about if there was usch a thing as a mini 2 prong flasher unit. I can go with round or square as long as they are no larger than 7/8X 7/8 square or 7/8 diameter. Anyone know of such a thing and where to get them? Maybe some of the foreign cars use a tinier cube size for their units???

Chuck, the smallest I have seen are round and about 1" diameter.
    Looks like these:

I have some 35mm x 25mm x 25mm types here that are 3 pin and for LED flashers. I got them on ebay from China see here:http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-3-Pin-Ca...item336e6faff8

I have not seen any that are smaller.

Matchless, is that a direct drop in for a 650? Im getting ready to do the switch to all LEDs and thats the last thing on my list to order.

The LED flasher unit has 3 pins, in fact only a 3 pin flasher unit will flash LED's properly without adding load resistors, which are bulky and hard to mount properly. There is no real LED direct drop in for the GS except the 550 which already has a 3 pin with ground.

You just need a separate ground for the 3rd pin, run a short ground wire to the nearest Black/white wire.
Those LED flashers are wired as follows:
L = Sky Blue wire coming from the handlebar switch for the turn signals
B = Orange or Orange/green wire from the signals fuse
E = Black/white wire for your new ground

That looks exactly what I took out of an old Buick and used in my old 550.
