Ok I will do that next time I put pictures on, thanks. Send me your email and I will email you with a few pictures of my VF500F interceptor. So Tom203 you are saying that I should look inside the switch and if the wires don't look right or if they are damaged in some way I should use one of my other switches?

If you have other right switches, don't bother to mount them just plug in and test- hopefully they have same plug (left switches seem to come in lots of flavors)! I assume you scooped a wiring diagram via Basscliff's and can determine if particular switch is passing juice down the line. I will PM my gmail address to you- when you get a chance send pic of VF500F, Thanks

Does this bike have a clutch safety interlock switch? Try pulling in the clutch

Got it Tom203. I don't know if it has a clutch safety switch. I will try that and see. I don't remember there being any wires running from the clutch but I could be wrong. I know which wire runs from the switch so I think I am just going to try another switch and see what happens. I sure its a simple thing and im just overlooking it. Helps to get away from the bike for a few days and re-access.

Yellow w/ green comes from the clutch safety switch on my GS300.

Yellow/green stripe wire is the one to the solenoid. I had to trace it all the way through the wiring harness, what a pain that was.

I spent 4 hours testing wires and changing out the right control yesterday and I found a bad wire and a blown fuse (again). Once I fixed this stuff the bike fired right up and not that I have synced the carbs and tweaked the idle air screw with my colortune and the bike runs most excellent. Thanks to all you guys for your help.
