    Found something interesting..

    While in the process of renovating my bike, I found something interesting with the negative ground to the engine case. I decided to pull it off and clean the area where it grounds too and clean off the connection as well. On closer inspection of the wire I noticed it had some corrosion on the end and went to clean it. It wouldn't clean out so I took my knife and opened in up some, I found that the corrosion had totally messed up the cable. The corrosion had traveled 3/4s of the cables length and had even eaten up some of the wires. Glad I had two other grounds besides the one from the battery to the engine case, this one apparently wasn't working for ca-ca.

    Stuff I've done to my bike:dancing: 1100E front end with new Sonic springs, 1100E swing arm conversion with new Progressive shocks installed, 530 sprockets/chain conversion, new SS brake lines, new brake pads. New SS fasteners through out. Rebuilt carbs, new EBC clutch springs and horn installed. New paint. Motor runs strong.
