new spark plug boots/wires with dyna-s?

I can't seem to find this information by searching..

What kind of wire (suppression/solid core) would I need with what spark plug boot (with resistor/without resistor) for use with a Dyna-s ignition and coil setup?

On z1's site it says to use suppression core wires with electronic ignition and that resistor boots shouldn't be used with suppression core wires. stock is solid core wire with resistor caps, but I wasn't sure if changing from points (on a '79 GS850) to dyna-s meant stock was no longer applicable. z1 also makes ignition wire with boots already on it (in both solid and suppression core) but it doesn't make mention if the boots have resistors or not.

Call Z1 and talk with them.
Then, just order the wires and boots from them.
They will send you what you need.

      Hi,

As I understand it, you can have the resistance either in the wire or the cap, but not both.

      Thank you for your indulgence,

I have the Dyna-S igniton, 8 mm supression wires and regular plugs. Works great. You could also use copper wires and suppression caps, works the same.
You could also do without the suppression, just for cars and iPods.

Awesome, that is exactly what I needed to know. Thanks!

I bought a cheap set of wires from Canadian tire, yanked the caps and coil connectors, then bought 25ft of metal wire plug lead from a small engine shop for $18 and crimped on the connectors. I used resistor plugs for suppression.
