    Rmstator

anyone have experience with the RMstator and RR? Just curious why they are so much cheaper than the other options...

I used Rmstator for an old yamaha 3 wheeler,
It was a rebuilt stator if i remember correctly.
The price are very good for a compagny up north.
You can even drive to their place, its not only a ebay store.

Went with the electrosport units. After reading a few opinions, that seemed the way to go.

            Hi,

I have not had the best of luck with RMStator. My first one was replaced under their warranty. They seem like nice folks. The second one failed just after the warranty expired. I am currently using a unit from the eBay seller 'Caltric' (over a year and no problems) and I also like Rick's Electrics stators but they are a little more expensive. Go with a good used Honda r/r unit from the "approved" list. They are much better than OEM style units.

            Thank you for your indulgence,

Where would find this "approved list"?

Follow down this link to R/R section.
But there are lots more useable Shindengen's than on list- head to ebay and you're very likely to find one under $25. Being 30 years old is no problem for these.

                EDIt; R/R examples....ebay item # 180906079039---Probably a Sh-232
                or ebay item #251063635957
