Wire Conectors

There was a link for a wire and connector vendor, but I cannot find it. I need to tighten up some of the wiring for my lights, but Auto Zone, etc. don't seem to carry any multi-wire disconnects (e.g., the triple connector for the brake/tail lights).

Can someone hook a brother up?

Found mine at local radio shack. They had several different variations of multi-pin plugs.

If you want to match the stock connectors, then Vintage Connections, Eastern Beaver, and Cycle Recycle II carry the various parts you'll need.

If you just want to put together a very nice sealed connection, then any Napa store should have a selection of Weatherpack connectors. If you don't have the proper crimp tool (a bit spendy), then you'll need to solder.

Ive done more boat electrical than motorcycle electrical however it seems to be very similar and needs to be equally weather and corrosion resistant.

For weather proof connections Ive found that the male female spades with heat shrink built into the spade connectors works really well, especially with some dielectric compound on the connectors.

I use the website below, they seem to have the best price on electrical connections and tinned wire (preferred for marine applications due to corrosion resistance.)

I used those before, they are great. I now emulate them by putting adhesive shrink tubing on the wire end of the spade connector and using dielectric grease at the connection itself. A lot cheaper and almost as good.
