    R/r 1981 gs450

I need to replace my stator and R/R and I keep reading something about using a Honda 250 R/R as a replacement.

Can someone clarify this theory? What year and will this definitely work? Also, any other suggestions for replacing the stator? If this is a faulty Suzuki part, I probably shouldn't replace with the Suzuki part.

    Please help me!

Look at used Honda CM200 81 and up. The 80 is six volt bike. Make sure it is 12 volt.

Lots to choose from on ebay for R/R's- back up on the link to find out how to test your charging system-don't guess, test!

thanks guys. I did test and both Stator and R/R are not working correctly.

I will use your link included though to check for my best options.

        thanks again!
