I'm pretty sure the stock one is a YB10L-A2... the key things will be terminal orientation and CCA...
Look up the Yuasa website and find the appropriate one there and it should give you the spec's.Last edited by pete; 06-30-2012, 07:22 PM.1982 GS450E - The Wee Beastie

Hi,
Depending on the year and model of your GS450 you could use either a YB10L-A2 or YB12B-B2. The CCA specs can vary depending on the manufacturer and type of battery (lead/acid, AGM, Lithium, etc). As long as you get the proper model for your bike, your charging system and ignition system are functioning properly, and the bike is in generally good maintenance, you'll have no worries.
Thank you for your indulgence,
BassCliff
