Buttoned everything up last night... Just need to run through the system check with a voltmeter to make sure all systems are go. (My meter in currently with my R/C Boat racing tools down in Hillsboro, Oregon,... they just returned from a trip to LA) I may try to borrow a meter tonight...
Also, I had already read through much of the reference material when I previously installed the relay mod, so additional grounding for the electronics had already been accomplished. This R/R should be very sufficiently grounded.
Here are some shots of how I installed the Compufire unit into the stock location.... Aluminum plate was fabbed from a piece of .090" 7075 T6 aluminum plate.
I'm hoping to go for a ride with her tonight....

My Compufire has two wire grounds, the one that goes to the battery and one that goes to the frame or engine case. On the back of the Compufire, you see where the one ground is attached, on the other side is a hole, I just used a self tapping screw and added the other ground using the same gauge wire that is on the original ground and connected it to the frame or engine case.sigpicMrBill Been a GSR member on and off since April 2002
