Unless you had to replace some parts, it should never need to be adjusted.

hers: 1982 GS850GL - "Angel" and 1969 Suzuki T250 Scrambler

i replace the Signal generator (pick up coil number 4 on picture ) and i would like to know if there is any procedure on how to correctly time the ignition on my bike.

Did you mean you replaced the entire pickup plate (with signal coils) ? If you can get a timing light, you can check timing at idle and at advance; be aware there is not much adjustment capability in screw slots.1981 gs650L
