    Starter Mystery

    Okay,

    The bike is a 1986 GS1150EF

All my lights on my instruments and lights are on. I pull in the clutch lever and then push the start button then everything goes dead.

I unhook the battery, wait a few seconds, hook it back up, turn on the key and all lights and instruments come on. I hit the starter button and everything goes dead.

Not blowing any fuses or anything.

This is my life right now.

So any ideas what's up? I am no electical genious by any means

    Feel like an idiot.

Ya it was the battery. I hooked up my boat battery with booster cables. So I took my battery out of my 1100 yamaha and it turned it over just fine.

    Thanks a ton.
