    I turned her over a few times this morning again - the start button did nothing the first time, but putting pressure on the fuse box got her to turn over. I'll focus my attention there next - at the very least I've got a poor connection. Unfortunately any new repairs will have to wait until after the weekend.

    Here's something to check.. With the back of the fuel tank lifted so you can see under the tank, start the bike, shut the lights off in the garage and look for spark arcing off the coil housing to the frame or from the plug wire coming out of the coil to the coil housing itself... you might have arcing going on which is cancelling the spark to the cylinder.. It helps to put good wires and rubber boots on each coil outlet.. This is something you do if you're having cylinder cutting out.
