You looking for tips on how to buy a bike?
As in "what's the difference between buying points and selling points"?

OK, it was just one of those non-descript titles that would work so well in a title search.
The word "ignition" was never mentioned.

A few here, I got OEM ones from E-bay, saved a little dough. Whenever I replace the points, I replace the condensers (capacitors) also.
If you want to buy from a Suzuki dealer you can go here.
This is Boulevard Suzuki, they're probably the cheapest Suzuki parts dealer. Z1 might have 'em cheaper. But at Boulevard Suzuki right and left points and two capacitors will cost you $79.77 excluding shipping (I think shipping is free for the time being, but you might want to check that).

I need to widen my view to see what all might be included in the brief title.
You might need to learn to write better titles.
There is a constant running theme here, "do a search".
Sometimes it is more detailed, "do a search, switch to 'titles only' ".
Doing a search for "ignition points" would not have found your thread.

Z1 looks pretty good.
But might find OEM stuff on E-bay cheaper, I think I paid $9 for OEM capacitors and points for my GS1000. It was there, the price was good,
and I couldn't walk away.sigpic
