was just about to spend 15 quid on ebay and order a 79 gs750 wiring diagram in colour to aid my future rewiring task and i thought i'd ask if any folk on here would have one they could scan and email me at gazyb10@yahoo.co.uk.many thanks folks

Have you checked BassCliff's website?
There is a decent black and white diagram for a 750 and a good color diagram for an 850, which is pretty darn close.
Not sure if the 750 had self-cancelling turn signals or not, that might be the only difference.

i have a black and white copy of wiring diagram but just thought a colour one would be abit easier for a novice like me to follow lol.will check out your link for the 850 colour wiring.my gs doesnt have the self cancelling indicators.cheersComment

The 1979 is not there, but it is almost identical to the 1978, adding a fuse block and maybe a fuel sending unit. Work with the 1978 color and just mark the extra bits on your 1979 B&W diagram.
