    Coils, stock vs Dyna ?

Ive got a bone stock 80 GS1100 with 18000 miles bone stock except jetting, K&N filter & a V&H 4-1 on it that runs perfect. Would there be any benefit to putting a set of green Dyna coils and new wires on it ? Just happen to have a set Im not using

It doesn't take that long to put them on. Do it and then answer your own question. I will bet you $1 that you will notice the difference. Cold starts and throttle response will be improved at the very least. Please report back if you do it. Dar

His stock coils are 3ohm. So are the green Dyna's.

I'd be very surprised if you notice a real difference if your wires are in good shape.

Getting full voltage to the coils usually makes more of a noticeable difference...
